L. Scott Schwerer has served on the McDonough County Board for 18 years, the last nine as Chairman. He has also served as Vice Chairman and as Chairman of the Elms Committee (certified nursing facility). By profession, Scott is a farmer and licensed auctioneer. He is a proud graduate of the University of Illinois.
